Day Two

Today I spent the day in Spokane with Kaarin's family. Before lunch, Kaarin's Grandma Dorie and I ran across a bridge that goes over the raging Spokane River. Notice I was on the left to protect her from any splashing. She's 87 but runs like a champ. Lunch was at Anthony's and now we're all going out to the lake house to spend the rest of the weekend. So far this trip is proving to be very comfortable.

Day One

Hi Friends,

A few months ago, I made a decision based on a childhood dream of driving the United States, I report the completion and success of day one as I land in Spokane. I find myself in an exciting time of transition and adventure, looking to the future with big questions. I have literally packed up my life into the bed of my truck, set it in fifth, and have shucked responsibility to invite fresh perspective. I doubt life's questions will be solved or that I will plan out my life, but this is a time for self discovery and finding inspiration. I invite you to check out the blog regularly. I can't promise postings each day or perfect grammar, but I will do my best to keep you all updated. Here's to adventure!

Happy Trails,
Kelly
